The Secretariat of the Agency for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean (OPANAL) held a visit to the Pan American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH). The Secretary General of OPANAL signed the historical visitors book and the Agency's team shared good practices.
During this visit, the Secretary General of the PAIGH gave the OPANAL team a tour of the Palace facilities and shared the work that his team has done over the last year. On the other hand, the OPANAL team shared experiences on administrative, financial, educational and international relations issues with the PAIGH team.
Among the common themes, both Organizations promote the culture of peace in the region, research and female leadership. Therefore, they seek to continue cooperating on these issues on future occasions.
