The OPANAL Secretariat appreciates the invitation to visit the headquarters of the Brazilian-Argentine Agency for Accounting and Control of Nuclear Materials.
The Agency is made up of a Commission made up of four representatives, two of them from Argentina and two from Brazil, and a Secretariat organized into technical and administrative sectors.
THE ABACC administers and applies the Common System of Accounting and Control of Nuclear Materials to Argentina and Brazil, guaranteeing both States, as well as the international community, that all nuclear materials and facilities existing in both countries are used for exclusively peaceful purposes. .
