Saint Kitts and Nevis signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on February 18, 1994, ratified the Treaty on April 18, 1995 and on that same date presented its declaration of waiver of the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.
Saint Kitts and Nevis signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on July 10, 1995 in Vienna and on May 7, 1996 in Basseterre, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.
Saint Kitts and Nevis acceded to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on March 22, 1993 in Washington.
Saint Kitts and Nevis signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) on March 23, 2004 and ratified it on April 27, 2005.
Saint Kitts and Nevis signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPAN) on September 26, 2019 and ratified it on August 09, 2020.
