The Dominican Republic

La Dominican Republic signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on July 28, 1967, ratified the Treaty on June 14, 1968 and on that same date presented its declaration of waiver of the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

The Dominican Republic signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on April 30, 1973 in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

The Dominican Republic signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on July 1, 1968 and ratified it on July 24, 1971 in Washington.

The Dominican Republic signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) on October 3, 1996 and ratified it on September 4, 2007.

The Dominican Republic signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPAN) on June 7, 2018.
