Haiti signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on February 14, 1967, ratified the Treaty on May 23, 1969 and on that same date presented its declaration of waiver of the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.
Haiti signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on January 6, 1975, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.
Haiti signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on July 1, 1968 and ratified it on June 2, 1970 in Washington.
Haiti signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) on September 24, 1996 and ratified it on December 1, 2005.
