Cuba signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on March 25, 1995, ratified the Treaty on October 23, 2002, and is still reviewing the declaration of waiver of the requirements outlined in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.
Cuba signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on September 18, 2003, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.
Cuba acceded to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on November 4, 2002 in Moscow.
Cuba signed and ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) on February 4, 2021.
Cuba signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPAN) on September 20, 2017 and ratified it on January 30, 2018.
