Bolivia signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on February 14, 1967, ratified the Treaty on February 18, 1969 and on that same date presented its declaration of waiver of the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.
Bolivia signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on April 30, 1974, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.
Bolivia signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on July 1, 1968 and ratified it on May 26, 1970 in Washington.
Bolivia signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) on September 24, 1996 and ratified it on October 4, 1999.
Bolivia signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPAN) on April 16, 2018 and ratified it on August 6, 2019.
