Bahamas

The Bahamas signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on November 29, 1976, ratified the Treaty on April 26, 1977, and on that same date presented its declaration of waiver of the requirements set forth in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

The Bahamas signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on April 9, 1997, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

The Bahamas inherited the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on August 11, 1976 in London, on August 13, 1976 in Washington, and on August 30, 1976 in Moscow.

The Bahamas signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) on February 4, 2005 and ratified it on November 30, 2007.
