12/12/24 – Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with the Republic of Korea
The Secretary-General signed, on behalf of the Agency, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
The Memorandum of Understanding establishes the basis for the participation of Korean nationals in the OPANAL Secretariat Internship Program. The initiative aims to encourage the incorporation of talented young people into the Organization's activities, contributing to the training of specialized personnel in international security.
OPANAL welcomes this important step, which strengthens ties of cooperation with the Republic of Korea and consolidates joint efforts in promoting nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation at the international level.
