Venezuela

Venezuela signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on 14 February 1967, ratified the Treaty on 23 March 1970, and on that same date presented its declaration of exemption to the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Venezuela signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on 23 June 1978, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Venezuela signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on 1 July 1968 and ratified it on 25 September 1975 in London, 26 September 1975 in Washington and 3 October 1975 in Moscow.

Venezuela signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 3 October 1996 and ratified it on 13 May 2002.

Venezuela signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) on 20 September 2017 and ratified it 27 March 2018.
