Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on 27 June 1967, ratified the Treaty on 3 December 1970, and on 27 June 1975 presented its declaration of exemption to the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Trinidad and Tobago signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on 4 November 1992 in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Trinidad and Tobago signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on 20 August 1968 in Washington and on 22 August 1968 in London, and ratified it on 30 October 1986 in Washington and London.

Trinidad and Tobago signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 8 October 2009 and ratified it on 26 May 2010.

Trinidad and Tobago signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) on 26 September 2019 and ratified it on that same date.
