Panama

Panama signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on 14 February 1967, ratified the Treaty on 11 June 1971 and on that same date presented its declaration of exemption to the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Panama signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on 23 March 1984, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Panama signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on 1 July 1968 and ratified it on 13 January 1977 in Washington.

Panama signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 24 September 1996 and ratified it on 23 March 1999.

Panama signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) on 20 September 2017 and ratified it on 11 April 2019.
