Mexico

Mexico signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on 14 February 1967, ratified the Treaty on 20 September 1967 and on that same date presented its declaration of exemption to the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Mexico signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on 29 March 2004, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Mexico signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on 26 July 1968 and ratified it on 21 January 1969 in London, Moscow and Washington.

Mexico signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 24 September 1996 and ratified it on 5 October 1999.

Mexico signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) on 20 September 2017 and ratified it on 16 January 2018.
