Jamaica

Jamaica signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on 26 October 1967, ratified the Treaty on 26 June 1969 and on that same date presented its declaration of exemption to the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Jamaica signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on 6 November 1978, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Jamaica signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on 14 April 1969 and ratified it on 5 March 1970 in London, Moscow and Washington.

Jamaica signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 11 November 1996 and ratified it on 13 November 2001.

Jamaica signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) on 8 December 2017 and ratified it on 23 October 2020.
