Ecuador

Ecuador signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on 14 February 1967, ratified the Treaty on 11 February 1969 and on that same date presented its declaration of exemption to the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Ecuador signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on 2 October 1974, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Ecuador signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on 9 July 1968 and ratified it on 7 March 1969 in Washington.

Ecuador signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 24 September 1996 and ratified it on 12 November 2001.

Ecuador signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) on 20 September 2017 and ratified it on 25 September 2019.
