Dominican Republic

Dominican Republic signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on 28 July 1967, ratified the Treaty on 14 June 1968, and on that same date presented its declaration of exemption to the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Dominican Republic signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on 30 April 1973 in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Dominican Republic signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) on 1 July 1968 and ratified it on 24 July 1971 in Washington.

Dominican Republic signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 3 October 1996 and ratified it on 4 September 2007.

Dominican Republic signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) on 7 June 2018 but has not yet ratified.
